Electric vehicle giant Tesla announced its second quarter balance sheet figures for 2024. Accordingly, the company did not sell Bitcoin in the second quarter. While no purchases were made, Bitcoin assets remained unchanged.
According to the latest figures, Tesla has approximately 10,000 BTC on its balance sheet. As it is known, Tesla bought 43,200 BTC in 2021 and sold more than 33,000 BTC in the same year.
On the other hand, the company’s revenues exceeded expectations. Against a revenue expectation of $24 billion 630 million, this figure was announced as $25 billion 500 million. However, vehicle delivery figures also exceeded analysts’ expectations with 443,956 units. Tesla thus continued to be by far the most preferred company in electric vehicle sales in the USA.
Bitcoin rose slightly on the news that no sales were made on the Tesla balance sheet. The number one cryptocurrency rose from $65,400 to $65,845. The price is trading at $66,390 as of 12.48 p.m.
