Binance announces new investment: Bringing modular security with AI

Binance made a new investment in Zircuit, a company that uses both zero-knowledge proof and artificial intelligence technology. Zircuit, an Ethereum layer 2 network, is dedicated to the security of on-chain transactions.

The project aims to prevent smart contract attacks with automated AI mechanisms, paving the way for users to make EVM-compliant and low-cost transactions without compromising speed.

The name, derived from the English word Circuit, which means “Circuit” in Turkish, reflects the company’s opening style. By dividing processes into small and specialized parts, Zircuit enables each part to perform a specific task more efficiently. The evidence generated for these individual pieces is then combined.

In addition to being one of the founders of the Binance exchange, Yi He, the head of Binance Labs, said the following about their investment:

“At Binance Labs, we support projects that are innovating in Web3 and accelerating the blockchain industry. Through its integration of sequencer level security, Zircuit is providing a more secure L2 solution and we look forward to watching it grow and develop further.”

No details were given about the amount of the investment.
