Elon Musk asks why Vitalik Buterin left Twitter

Vitalik Buterin, who does not write on X as much as he used to and keeps his posts at a limited level, was called to “return” to the platform, while Elon Musk also intervened in the issue. Tesla, SpaceX and X CEO asked “Why did he quit?” for Buterin.

Elon Musk also drew the attention of Vitalik Buterin, one of the founders of Ethereum, who has recently shared more on the platform called Farcaster instead of X.
In his response to a person calling for Buterin to return, Musk asked, “Why did he leave?” for the Ethereum founder.

Farcaster, which is similar to the X platform but is a place where those who are more interested in cryptocurrencies participate, has also attracted Buterin’s attention since February. Buterin, who wrote more here than X, also said of Farcaster, “Farcaster may be the most usable of the platforms that could be an alternative to Twitter.”

The introduction of Frames, which transforms Farcaster-based posts into interactive mini-applications, enabled the number of active users of the platform to increase significantly.

The account called Autism Capital, to which Musk responded and called for Buterin to return, asked the Ethereum founder to return to X as soon as possible and said:

“Vitalik needs to get back on X. Farcaster isn’t going to win the culture war. If he wants Ethereum to shine he should engage more on this platform, not sequester himself with his chosen peers on an island. He will have far more impact if he engages the bigger community here.”

For Buterin, who has nearly 200 thousand followers on Farcaster, this figure is around 5.2 million on X.
