US presidential candidate Ron DeSantis: I will end the war on bitcoin and crypto

Ron DeSantis, another US presidential candidate who, like Kennedy, is not shy about voicing his support for Bitcoin, once again emphasized Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The current governor of Florida said he would eliminate the Biden government’s anti-Bitcoin policy as soon as he takes office.

“Bitcoin is a threat to them”

Speaking at his campaign rally in New Hampshire yesterday, DeSantis said, “They have declared war on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, and I will end that war the day I am elected president. Bitcoin is a threat to them. They’re trying to regulate it in a way that doesn’t fit its existence.

As it will be remembered, one of DeSantis’ presidential promises was that CBDCs would not be enacted. In many of his previous speeches, DeSantis had stated that CBDCs would bring bad consequences for the US people and would be enacted to restrict people’s financial freedom.

Robert Kennedy Jr., another presidential candidate like DeSantis, took his support for Bitcoin one step further and said that he would back the dollar with Bitcoin.
