Crypto world reacts to US Bitcoin steps: Will all Bitcoins be sold?

The US government’s move yesterday to move thousands of Bitcoins seized from Silk Road caused the crypto world to react. Industry experts and leaders agree that the Biden/Harris administration made such a move knowingly and willingly, but they made a big mistake.

Crypto world reacts to US Bitcoin steps: Will all Bitcoins be sold?

After Donald Trump’s promise of a ‘strategic Bitcoin reserve’ at the Bitcoin Conference on Saturday evening, the Democratic administration’s movement of nearly 30 thousand Bitcoins, as if to take a jibe, led to the reactions of the crypto world.

‘Is this how you will restart?’

One of the names that reacted was Tyler, one of the Winklevoss twins who openly supported Donald Trump. Winklevoss, owner of the Gemini exchange, commented on the news that Harris wanted to restart relations with the crypto world and this transfer as follows:

“On Saturday evening, Donald Trump promised that he would not sell any of the BTCs held by the government. 2 days later, the Harris government made this transfer. It’s really a great perspective to restart relations…”

“Are you deaf? Don’t you see?”

Mike Novogratz, founder of the digital asset and crypto management company Galaxy Digital, was one of the celebrities who criticised the Harris government:

“Are you deaf? Don’t you see, transferring Silk Road Bitcoins two days after Donald Trump’s words is stupid in my opinion…”

‘A lesson on how to lose 30 million votes…’

‘The Harris government is giving a great lesson on how to lose 30 million games,’ said Eric Weiss, CEO of Bitcoin Investment Group, which focuses on Bitcoin and blockchain technologies investment.

‘They will offend a generation’

David Bailey, one of the organisers of the Bitcoin Conference and also CEO of Bitcoin Magazine, said, ‘They are only doing this out of hatred for Donald Trump. It would not be good for the Democrats. If they continue, they will permanently offend a generation,’ he said.
