Swords drawn in the Elon Musk and Dogecoin case: “These are dirty tricks”

Lawyers for Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and X, said in a petition to the court on Monday that the process was “unnecessarily” dragging on and requested that the complainant’s latest allegations be dismissed.

The investors’ lawyer responded, “They continue to falsely accuse and harass us. These are dirty games.”

Musk’s lawyer: Enough is enough!

Musk’s lawyer Alex Shapiro, who stated that they are fed up with the amendments to the complaint, said, “Enough is enough. In June, the complaint was changed for the third time. It is constantly changing. Additional accusations are coming. They should give up such tactics.”

“They continue with their baseless accusations”

Evan Spencer, the attorney for the Dogecoin complaint group, continued to blame Musk’s side. Stating that Musk constantly tweeted “nonsense” Dogecoin tweets and that’s why they made the changes in the complaint, the lawyer said:

“There is a case of intentional and willful market manipulation and insider trading. They asked for the case to be dismissed in March, but then they changed Twitter’s logo and changed it to Dogecoin. These are dirty tricks. They continue with their baseless accusations. There is constant taunting and harassment against me and the complainants.”

Musk’s lawyer Spiro responded to these allegations by saying, “There is nothing illegal about tweeting and supporting. Digital wallets selling Dogecoin have absolutely no connection to Musk.”

Musk tweeted about Bitcoin and Dogecoin in a long period from 2019 to the 2021 bull season and had a great impact on the market.

Musk was also banned by the SEC from tweeting about the stocks of his own companies.
