SPK updated the list: 4 more crypto companies applied

Following the crypto law passed by the Turkish Grand National Assembly in June, companies continue to register with the Capital Markets Board (SPK). Last month, Coinbase, Kucoin and İşbank were added to the registrations made by 4 new companies today.

SPK updated the list: 4 more crypto companies applied

The Capital Markets Board (CMB), which announced new regulations on cryptocurrencies yesterday evening, registered 4 more companies today.

The companies that registered today are as follows:

  • Dijital Muhafız Teknoloji A. Ş. (Custody Application)
  • Gümüş Global Teknoloji A. Ş. – Kriptomall
  • Narkasa Yazilim Ticaret A. S. – Bybit Turkey
  • Vbi Gayrimenkul İnşaat Sanayi A. Ş.

While the number of registered companies has reached 80 in total, the list includes many companies known to the Turkish community, from Coinbase to Binance, Gate.io to Btcturk and Paribu.

There are new rules

The CMB also announced some new rules regarding cryptocurrencies yesterday evening. The institution announced that leveraged transactions were completely banned, as expected in the industry. Basket investments with reference applications, which are widely seen in foreign exchanges, will not be available on platforms registered in the Turkish system. On the other hand, money transfers can only be made through authorised intermediary institutions and banks.
