Paradigm, one of the most important investment companies in the crypto world, which was founded in 2018 by Fred Ehrsam and Matt Huang and has been making waves with its investments in decentralized finance, seed-level projects and infrastructure, announced that it has raised $850 million in funding.
The company will again use this funding to invest in early-stage projects. In the statement made on Paradigm’s website, it was stated that these early-stage projects will be Web3, infrastructure, projects using Uniswap v4 features, crypto games, social media projects and prediction markets.
Founded in 2018, Paradigm managed to raise $400 million in funding in the same year. In 2021, the company stepped on the gas and managed to raise $2.5 billion, and in 2022, it increased this figure to $4 billion.
The famous investment company also participated in Uniswap’s seed investment round.
Despite all its long-term and early investments, the firm also invested a total of $278 million in FTX and its US arm FTX.US. Founder Huang was even heard as a witness in the trial of Sam Bankman-Fried.
