1004 BTC came out today from a wallet that had not seen any activity for more than 10 years. The transaction was made at 2:57 am. Almost all of the assets, worth about $57 million, continue to be held in a different wallet to which they were transferred.
The wallet owner received these BTC between November 25, 2013 and March 13, 2014. The average cost per BTC was $735. It is unclear whether the investor, who earned 7,500% return on his Bitcoin investment 10 years ago, made this transaction for sale or for a wallet change. On the other hand, the possibility of this being an OTC (over-the-counter) transaction is seen as strong.
