Request from exchanges for the first time…

As it is known, the SEC had not previously contacted the exchanges that would list these ETFs. This caused experts to despair about Ether spot ETFs.

However, as Reuters reported, the request to contact Nasdaq and CBOE exchanges and make the necessary changes has completely changed the course here.

On Thursday and Friday this week, the SEC will make a decision on the funds of VanEck and ARK Invest that the CBOE exchange will list.

Fidelity, Wisdom Tree and Invesco are among the issuers of Ether ETFs that CBOE has applied to list.

Nasdaq will list the Hashdex and BlackRock Ether spot ETF products.

Is there no NYSE Arca?

It is not yet known whether the SEC has contacted NYSE Arca, which will serve as the third exchange in this regard.

Companies can apply to list ETFs on more than one exchange. VanEck, Fidelity and Wisdom Tree had also applied for the NYSE Arca exchange.
