The world-famous fast food chain McDonald’s Instagram account was hacked. The hacker who took over the account promoted a meme token called GRIMACE issued on the Solana network. In the shared post, the following statements took place:

“$GRIMACE

A McDonald’s experiment on Solana…”

The post, which reached thousands of likes within minutes, remained on the 5 million account for at least 1 hour. After this post, GRIMACE’s market value quickly reached $20 million from $100 thousand. After it was realised that the account was hacked, the price crashed and the market value fell below $1 million.
