Joe Biden, who faced pressure to withdraw from the presidential race after his program with Trump on CNN screens in recent weeks, announced that he would continue the race. After Biden’s move, the Chamber of Progress, known for its lobbying activities in the technology sector, sent him a letter about cryptocurrencies.
“The young generation is holding cryptocurrencies”
Kyle Bligen, one of the directors of the organization, which conducts research on technology and innovation, as well as lobbying activities before Congress, emphasized the interest of the younger generation in crypto and used the following statements:
“More than 18 million voters in the US currently hold cryptocurrency. Generation Z and millennials support policies that favor the use of digital assets. We believe this presents a pivotal opportunity for your administration to lead on an issue that resonates strongly with young voters. Consumers have suffered through a period of regulatory uncertainty that has devalued the digital assets they hold and limited their utility. With 18 million voters and an election at stake, now is the time to speak out in support of bipartisan progress regulating digital assets.”
The letter also stated that the SEC’s policies in the don period have seriously damaged the cryptocurrency sector.
As it is known, Donald Trump has been organizing meetings with the leaders of the cryptocurrency industry for some time, and in many of his election speeches, he states that he fully supports cryptocurrency ownership and transactions.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, has always kept silent on these issues so far and preferred not to speak.
