The German government, which has seriously reduced 50 thousand Bitcoins, especially with the sales it has made in the last week, has 6400 Bitcoins left. The Germans started Friday morning with transfers and sent 2700 BTC to addresses thought to be affiliated with Kraken, Coinbase and Bitstamp exchanges and B2C2 Group, as in the past days.
As it is known, the German government seized 50 thousand BTC belonging to the pirate film site Movie2k as a result of a joint operation with the FBI in 2020 and kept it until today. It is certain that the Germans will sell the last remaining BTC by the end of next week.
After the government’s sales were seen on the chain, there is a partial decline in the Bitcoin price and the largest cryptocurrency is around $56,950.
Even after the US inflation data was announced positively yesterday and the Fed’s expectations of an interest rate cut in September increased, the Bitcoin price could not rise to the expected levels.
