Germans continue to sell Bitcoin as of Thursday. The German government-affiliated wallet issued 2375 Bitcoins worth approximately $140 million. BTCs from the wallet were sent to a wallet believed to be linked to Coinbase, Kraken and Bitstamp exchanges and market maker company B2C2 Group.

After these transfers, the German government was left with 13,100 Bitcoins. These Bitcoins, worth approximately $765 million, are expected to be sold by the end of next week at the latest.

The German state started sales on June 19 and stepped on the gas with more than 25 thousand BTC sales, especially this week.

It was also noteworthy that there was no decline in Bitcoin after the German transfers. Bitcoin continues to trade around 58 thousand dollars as it was in the morning hours.

Apart from the German government’s sales, Mt. Gox exchange still has 94 thousand Bitcoins waiting to be distributed. These BTCs will also be distributed to deserving creditors over time through Bitstamp, Kraken and BitGo.
