Dormant Bitcoin whale transferred 2995 BTC years later: A bearish sign?

A new one was added last night to the recent transfers of large Bitcoin wallets. The wallet, which received 3200 BTC on May 7, 2016, made a transfer for the first time in 6 years. The value of Bitcoins was 1.47 million dollars in 2016.

The whale split its funds into 2495 BTC and 500 BTC and sent them to two newly created wallets.

A dormant bitcoin whale transferred nearly 3k BTC on Monday.

When the BTC was first moved to the wallet, the Bitcoin price was approximately $459.

There is no information on whether such transfers were made for sale. In general, transfers are sent to new types of wallets due to security vulnerabilities in old-type wallets. Especially recently, such transfers have increased significantly.

As it will be remembered, in August, a wallet from Satoshi-era moved for the first time in about 13 years. In November 2010, when BTCs first entered the wallet, the price was only 0.23 dollars.
