At his famous Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida, Trump hosted executives from some mining companies, including executives from RIOT Platforms and Cleanspark, and pledged his support again.

Trump, who has recently criticized the Biden government’s management of cryptocurrencies, stated that he will protect the rights of Bitcoin mining companies if he returns to his seat in the White House.

Trump pledged support for miners, saying, “I want all the remaining Bitcoins mined in the US.” The former US president also maintained his stance against CBDCs and said, “Bitcoin could be our last line of defense in our war against CBDCs.”

Matthew Schultz, chairman of Cleanspark, one of the mining companies, also included some of Trump’s remarks on his X account and wrote, “Americans vote according to the power of their pockets. Therefore, we can trust Bitcoiners,” he wrote.
