In the transaction that took place at 11.22 p.m, 1000 BTC was divided into two separate wallets. 1.27 BTC was transferred to one wallet and 998.73 BTC to the other.

Due to the anonymous nature of blockchain technology, this transfer made by the unknown investor after waiting 12 years raised a question mark in mind. On the background of the transaction, the possibilities of sales, finding the lost password or a wallet change are being emphasised.

Bitcoins in the wallet were received on 25 September 2012. On that date, the total value of Bitcoins was $12,000.

On the other hand, the transfer in question did not have an impact on the price. The number one cryptocurrency continued its rise and rose above $63,070.

Recently, activity in old wallets has increased. Especially since the beginning of July, over 3 thousand BTC has moved after at least 10 years of waiting. Some wallets were based on 13 years ago.
