After the SEC paved the way for Bitcoin spot ETFs on 10 January, BlackRock, which received the most investment in this product, increased the total value of assets under management to $11.5 trillion in the Q3. The company’s fund investment of $221 billion last quarter was the highest level in its history.

BlackRock, which has more than $21 billion worth of Bitcoin under its control, increased the value of its overall assets to $11.5 trillion. The world’s largest asset manager company saw a serious influx of money from its customers during the rise in the markets.

Record entry in the Q3

The latest figures show that the company received a net investment of $221 billion in Q3 of this year. This input was also the highest figure the company has seen in its history on a quarterly basis. Experts expected this figure to be around $160 billion.

The number of BTC purchased by BlackRock on behalf of its customers is also increasing significantly. The company bought 12,272 BTC in the last 16 days. The world’s largest asset manager currently holds 369,640 Bitcoin.

Larry Fink, the famous CEO of BlackRock, stated in many publications that he was prejudiced against Bitcoin in the past, but later learnt it well and realised its value.
