Binance officially announced: Japan arm launches with 34 tokens

Binance Japan made the expected announcement and officially revealed the tokens it will support on its platform in the country. As reported in the Japanese media, the exchange has selected 34 cryptocurrencies and tokens for spot trading.

The following cryptocurrencies and tokens will be supported on the new platform launched for the Japanese market:

BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, ALGO, ASTR, ATOM, AVAX, AXS, BAT, BCH, CHZ, DAI, DOGE, DOT, ENJ, ETC, IOST, JASMY, LINK, LTC, MATIC, MKR, ONT, QTUM, SAND, SHIB, SOL, TRX, XEM, XLM, XRP, XTZ and ZIL.

As mentioned earlier, Binance’s own cryptocurrency BNB, which is among these tokens, will also be offered to Japanese investors for the first time. The transition of Japanese users registered on Binance’s global platform will be completed after August 14. A special notification will be sent to users for the transition.

SAKURA Exchange BitCoin, which Binance acquired in November 2022, was renamed Binance Japan. The new exchange will also have an Earn program. Users will be able to earn returns on a daily basis by locking their tokens.

In the statement, Japan’s Web3 breakthrough was praised and the following statements were used:
