Binance announces delisting of three altcoins

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it will remove three cryptocurrencies from its platform. According to the announcement, these cryptocurrencies will be DREP (DREP), Mobilecoin (MOB) and pNetwork (PNT). The delisting will take place on 3 April 2024.

Deposits for these assets will not be available from 4 April 2024 and withdrawals from 3 July 2024.

After the decision to remove from the platform, sharp declines were seen in all three cryptocurrencies. In the first minutes, DREP and MOB lost more than 50% and PNT lost 45% in value.

Binance stated that it regularly reviews each listed digital asset to ensure that it continues to meet high level of standard and industry requirements: “When a coin or token no longer meets these standards or the industry landscape changes, we conduct a more in-depth review and potentially delist it. Our priority is to ensure the best services and protections for our users while continuing to adapt to evolving market dynamics. “
