Arthur Hayes, who left BitMEX, which he founded in 2020, and consulted many projects in 2023 after years of silence, sold Pendle, which he recommended buying from Singapore 2 days ago.
According to the information provided by on-chain tracking firm Lookonchain, Hayes accepted some of the loss he suffered in Pendle, which he bought at an average of $5.6 in May and June, and sold. Hayes sold 350 thousand Pendle tokens while losing $790 thousand. Although the exact figure is unknown, it is estimated that Hayes still has a significant amount of Pendle.
Hayes, who was in Singapore for the TOKEN2049 conference, stated in his speech the other day that he had serious investments in Ether, Ethena and Pendle. Hayes also recommended buying ONDO, although he had no investment.
Hayes is an advisor and manager at Ethena, a stablecoin project that includes the Maelström fund, which invests in early crypto projects, and derivative assets rather than traditional assets behind it.
The 39-year-old investor also harshly criticised the Fed’s 50 basis point cut and claimed that it was a politically motivated interest rate decision.
