EigenLayer, which made its second airdrop in the past weeks, unlocked the tokens for the first time on September 30. Justin Sun, the biggest winner of the first airdrop, also earned a significant amount of tokens in the second airdrop. The Tron founder earned about $8.75 million worth of EIGEN tokens.
Sun appears to have sent the EIGEN tokens to his account on the HTX exchange, where he is on the advisory board. It is not known whether the tokens entering the stock market have been sold.
Wallet value $1.3 billion
Sun, who was the top earner in the first airdrop in February, has a wallet worth approximately $1.3 billion, detected and tracked by Arkham. The wallet contains dozens of cryptocurrencies and tokens from Bitcoin to Ether, Bittorrent to Tron and Shiba Inu.
The EigenLayer project, which has attracted great interest since the end of last year as a re-staking protocol, has received significant investments from many large companies. Andreessen Horowitz, known for its crypto investments, invested $100 million in the project.
