Trump did not give up despite the assassination attempt: He will participate in Bitcoin 2024

Despite yesterday’s assassination attempt, US presidential candidate Donald Trump has not changed his programme for the Bitcoin 2024 event, which he had previously announced he would attend.

The news was given by David Bailey, CEO of the event. In a post shared on his X account, Bailey said, “I just spoke to the President’s team. He is in good spirits and is excited to see you all in Nashville and to give a speech that will resonate around the world.”

Bitcoin 2024 will be held in Nashville, Texas on July 25-27. In addition to Donald Trump, many important names will participate in the event. Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor are some of the other speakers who will attend.

Trump has attracted attention with his positive messages towards the crypto sector in recent months. In his speech at an event last month, the presidential candidate said, “I will end Joe Biden’s war against crypto. We will ensure that the future of crypto and Bitcoin is built in America, otherwise we will lose this opportunity to other countries.” Trump also accepts donations with cryptocurrency in his election campaign.

On the other hand, Bitcoin increased as the possibility of Trump winning the election became stronger after the assassination attempt. The number one cryptocurrency rose above $60,000 while trading at $58,300. Bitcoin is trading at $62,850 as of 12.07 p.m.
