Germans continue to gradually sell Bitcoin. Today, 832 Bitcoins were released from the government-owned wallet. 282 of these BTC ($17.6 million) were sent to Coinbase, Kraken and Bitstamp exchanges. The remaining 550 BTC were transferred to an unknown address.
The Germans had 50 thousand Bitcoins seized from the pirate movie site Movi2k. The German state had sent more than 6 thousand of these Bitcoins to exchanges and unknown wallets by this time.
The wallet currently holds 43,859 BTC with a valuation of $2.7 billion. Experts say that the fear that the recent small-scale transfers of both the German and US governments will grow even larger for the future is clearly visible in the markets.
The other day, a small transfer of 12 units was made from US wallets and Bitcoins were sent to an unknown address.
