Peter Brandt made an ambitious analysis on Bitcoin. Comparing Bitcoin to gold, Brandt said that the biggest cryptocurrency’s rise against the yellow metal will only increase over the next 12 to 18 months.

Brandt, who has more than 700 thousand followers on X, stated that Bitcoin has always appreciated against gold since its creation and said:

“Since its creation, Bitcoin has always won against gold. The chart below shows the number of ounces of gold needed to buy 1 Bitcoin. Over a period of 12 to 18 months, this ratio will continue to increase. Eventually, I think the number of ounces of gold needed to buy 1 BTC will reach 100.”

The chart currently shows that the number of ounces of gold needed to buy 1 BTC is 29. Therefore, according to Brandt’s prediction, Bitcoin’s appreciation against gold will be more than 3 fold.

In the last sentence of his comment, Brandt sent a message to Peter Schiff, who is anti-Bitcoin, and said, “What do you say to this comment, Peter Schiff?”

Schiff is against Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, claiming that such assets have no tangible value.

Schiff is often invited by the US financial media to appear on programs to debate cryptocurrency proponents.
