Binance announces next Launchpool project

The Binance exchange announced Ethena (ENA) early this morning as the new and 50th Launchpool project. BNB and FDUSD staking for ENA, the token of Ethena, for which Arthur Hayes, one of the founders of the famous trader and BitMEX exchange, also provided consultancy support, will start tonight at 03.00 (30 March). Stake transactions will take 3 days. After this process, ENA will be opened to general listing. The general listing will start at 11 a.m. on 2 April.

Crypto trading pairs where ENA will be listed; ENA/BTC, ENA/USDT, ENA/BNB, ENA/FDUSD and ENA/TRY.

In ENA, which has a total supply of 15 billion units, 300 million tokens are reserved for Launchpool. Of this figure, 240 million were allocated to the BNB pool reward and 60 million to the FDUSD pool reward.

What is Ethena (ENA)?

ENA, a DeFi protocol created on the Ethereum blockchain, has a synthetic dollar called USDe … The current value of USDe, which has a market value of only $85 million at the beginning of the year, is around $1.3 billion.

Ethena’s synthetic dollar USDe provides investors with fixed returns by using Lido’s stETH-style liquid staking tokens as protective assets. In addition, these tokens are balanced with perpetual-term short Ether positions on derivative exchanges, trying to stabilise the permanent price of $1.

750 million airdrops will be made

Ethena will also airdrop up to 750 million ENA airdrops to users who own USDe and lock their tokens (USDe) into the system. The process will end on 1 April. From 2 April, users will be able to start requesting ENA tokens. After the airdrop, Ethena will make another airdrop for new incentives.

As of 2 April, many other cryptocurrency exchanges are expected to list ENA.
