Changpeng Zhao, founder and former CEO of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, broke his long silence. Zhao, who was in the USA due to the lawsuit filed against him and previously stated that he would take a break from social media for a while, said in his post yesterday, “Launching a new project. No, no new tokens. Education project. More details soon….” he said.
Zhao gave more details a few hours later. Binance’s founder said the name of his new project is Giggle Academy. Stating that free basic education will be provided for everyone within the scope of the project, Zhao noted that there will be no revenue model and that they will create a gamified and adaptable structure.
“Everyone in the world should have access to education. Our mission is to make learning fun, addictive, and free for all.” According to the information shared, Giggle Academy can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Giggle’s programmes and games will be open to anyone with an internet connection.
“Creating a high-quality education platform that is completely free and accessible to everyone is the most beneficial thing I can do for the next period of my life,” says Zhao.
There is also a waiting list for early access to the platform. Those who wish can sign up for this list with their e-mails.
Lastly, Zhao stated that they are recruiting, they will have a small team and this team will work directly with him.
