In a period when cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, were rising, Elon Musk criticised the US dollar with a coin comparison. Musk shared a screenshot of a tweet written by someone else from his personal X account without comment.
In the post made by an anonymous account from which Musk took a screenshot, the continuous increase in the supply of the US dollar was criticised and the following statements were used:
“These scam coins are getting crazy. One someone just shilled me. 27 trillion in circulation, unlimeted supply cap, only 1 node, 25% of supply minted in 6 last months, 1% of the holders own 30%. jk that’s the US dollar.”
Are crypto tweets coming back?
Musk stepped on the brakes with the reactions following his Bitcoin and Dogecoin tweets in 2021 and wrote almost nothing about this field. Especially Musk, whose financial tweets are also monitored by the SEC, does not go unnoticed that Musk made a post, even indirectly, during this period when cryptocurrencies are on the rise.
Recently, it was seen that Tesla wallets followed by Arkham Intelligence had more Bitcoin than they should have. It is also noteworthy that Tesla or Musk still does not make a statement on the subject and at least does not deny the issue.
