March will be a month of important unlockings in many tokens. A total of $2 billion 820 million worth of tokens will be unlocked in 12 different tokens.

Unlocking, or “unlock” in common terms, means that tokens will be available and released after a certain period of time. Unlocks, which take place until the entire supply is launched according to a predetermined schedule, are closely monitored due to their potential to cause a drop in the price of the relevant token. This month’s biggest unlock will take place on Arbitrum (ARB). The circulating supply on ARB will almost double. On March 16, 1 billion 111 million ARBs worth $2 billion 190 million will be released into circulation. This amount to be unlocked corresponds to 87.2% of the circulating supply.
